Client Vetting:
RFP Authority reserves the right to accept or reject requests for assistance based upon the nature of those requests. As a rule, we do not accept requests to create content, or to perform work, that does not align with our capabilities or values. For example, we do not accept requests to create content, or to perform work, that promotes criminality, discrimination, hatred, or exploitation of or against humans or animals.
Contracts:
The contract is the sole instrument by which RFP Authority agrees to deliver fee-based services to its clients.
Proposal Development, Expectations, and Outcomes:
By contracting RFP Authority to develop your proposal, you understand and agree that RFP Authority will utilize its expertise and experience to strengthen your proposal to bolster your organization's case for funding. You understand and agree further that RFP Authority neither implies nor expresses any guarantees that your proposal will successfully win an award.
Consultations:
Consultations are arranged by appointment. Consultations are held in a format that is most convenient for both parties (i.e., video conference or in-person)..
Intellectual Property and Work Product:
All grant applications, narratives, supporting documents, reports, and other work products developed by Contractor under
an Agreement are works made for hire and shall be the client’s sole property upon creation. Contractor assigns to its clients all rights, title, and interest in such work product. Contractor shall retain no license to reuse proprietary content, data, narratives, or application materials for any other client or purpose. Contractor shall deliver all work product in editable electronic format upon request or upon conclusion of an Agreement.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
Privacy and confidentiality are priorities at RFP Authority. Therefore, we have implemented electronic, physical, and managerial procedures to ensure, to the greatest extent possible, that there is no unauthorized or unnecessary disclosure of our clients' personal, proprietary, or copyrighted assets, content, or material. Communications are maintained in confidence by our RFP Authority and its assigns. We do not disclosed our clients' information to third-party affiliates beyond those that are necessarily involved in, and legally bound by, the fulfillment of our contracts. We do not rent or sell our clients' information. Each Party (“Receiving Party”) agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information disclosed by the other Parties (“Disclosing Party”) in connection with an Agreement, whether oral, written, electronic, or in any other form, that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential given its nature and the circumstances of disclosure (“Confidential Information”). The Receiving Party shall use Confidential Information solely for the purpose of performing its obligations under an Agreement and shall not disclose it to any third party without the Disclosing Party’s prior written consent, except to employees, agents, or contractors who have a need to know and are bound by similar confidentiality obligations. This obligation does not apply to information that: (a) was already known to the Receiving Party; (b) becomes publicly available through no fault of the Receiving Party; (c) is independently developed without the use of the Confidential Information; (d) is rightfully received from a third party without a duty of
confidentiality; or (e) is required to be disclosed by law, provided the Disclosing Party is given prompt notice and the
opportunity to seek protection. Upon termination of an Agreement or the Disclosing Party’s request, the Receiving Party
shall return or destroy all Confidential Information. These confidentiality obligations shall survive the termination or
expiration of an Agreement.
Cloud Storage and Protection:
RFP Authority utilizes a cloud-based production platform to prepare, duplicate, and manage documents. To secure the transfer and storage of data, our cloud uses industry-leading SSL encryption technology, firewall protection, intrusion detection, and user authentication.
Physical Security:
Access to our computers are controlled and monitored. Only authorized personnel can access our computers and copiers.
Secure Printing:
To further protect the confidentiality and integrity of our clients' information, our computers and copiers are utilized only by our employees who have authenticated access. Our printers electronically shred data stored on their hard disks as a routine aspect of document security.
